Come enjoy the 2017 Mayo Arts Festival & Canada Day Celebration. A day with something for everyone, Canada Day begins with a parade and bike decorating contest at 11 am at the YTG Administration building on Center Street. At noon, the event moves over to the JV Clark School Soccer field, directly behind the school and the Mayo Arts Festival & Canada Day events begin.

Good news, this year we have decided to hold the Mayo Arts Festival and Canada Day Celebrations together at the JV Clark School Soccer Field. This will be a lot of fun and we invite you to come and take part in our Celebrations!

2015 Mayo Arts Festival less than two weeks away! June 9, 2015
We are really excited about the 2015 Arts Festival line-up, there are so many interesting workshops and demonstrations in the Arts Tent and we also have a super line-up of local musical talent on the Main Stage! Hope to see you there!!!
What a terrific day we had, there were forecasts of rain all week but to our great relief the sun shone all day long, not a drop of rain to be had!
The Aboriginal Day Traditional Regalia Fashion Show and Art Gallery were incredible! The music line-up was fantastic with an wide range of music styles performed throughout the day and into the evening! The Arts Tent held numerous workshops and demonstrations that were well attended and enjoyed by all!
See you all next year when the Mayo Midnight Marathon celebrates it’s 20th Anniversary!
This year, the Mayo Arts Festival is teaming up with NNDFN’s Aboriginal Day. There are lots of very cool Aboriginal Day events being planned: bannock on the campfire, an artist gallery, a traditional regalia fashion show, a historic photo exhibit, great art, great music and lots of fun!
We are really looking forward to a great combined celebration of the Arts of the Stewart Valley area communities!
